Reg CF, Reg A, or IPO? Choosing the Right Capital Path

Tomorrow’s founder webinar breaks down when each route makes sense, what founders need to prepare, and how to think about investor readiness, compliance, and long-term capital strategy.

Hi there,

This week: a practical look at choosing between Reg CF, Reg A, and IPO pathways; the latest founder funding trends; and a DealMaker podcast conversation on turning community into a fundraising advantage.

Plus: join Kingscrowd for tomorrow’s New Capital Raising Playbook webinar, and read CrowdCheck’s take on how creators can use Reg CF and Reg A to bring fans into the business.

Let’s dive in.

Founders have more capital raising options than ever — but choosing the right path depends on your stage, goals, investor base, and readiness. In our upcoming founder webinar, Chris Lustrino will sit down with Jeanne Campanelli, Mark Elenowitz, and Gregg Jaclin for a practical discussion on the benefits, challenges, timing, and preparation required for Reg CF, Reg A, and IPO pathways.

If you’re planning a raise, considering a future public markets strategy, or simply trying to understand which capital path fits your business, this is a conversation worth joining.

FROM THE INSIDE STARTUP INVESTING PODCAST

Building a community is no longer just a marketing strategy—it can be a fundraising strategy too. EDUCATION

Creators already know how to build community. But for creator-led businesses, the next step may be turning some of that community into actual stakeholders. In a recent CrowdCheck post, Andrew Stephenson explains why Reg CF and Reg A can be useful tools for creators who want to raise capital from fans — especially because these exemptions allow companies to communicate online in ways that fit how creator audiences already engage.
